I have read several novels from this couple, and have enjoyed all of them a great deal. Warnings, politics and violence. The story spooked me(not a easy task). This one in particular takes you to Iran, Australia and other countries in the Middle East where his mission develops. Unfortunately I have found most of the succeeding novels to be progressively less enjoyable, culminating in this one which I just didn't like. Being raised on all types of comics, from American superheroes to Japanese manga, the "ligne claire" or clear line style developed in Belgium and championed by Herge has to be one of my favorites and Garen Ewing is a master of the form. This is a lovely story with a strong sense of community. Very helpful for understanding the basics.
